I thought that I would share a couple of pictures with everyone here in the DoD:S division of my two WWII era rifles! I am planning on getting a M1 Garand (Allied Rifleman primary weapon) really soon to add to my collection.

This is my 1943 Underwood .30 cal M1 Carbine. (Allied Rocket secondary weapon in game)

This is my 1937 German Mauser K98k 8mm. (Axis Rifleman primary weapon in game)

Here they are side by side.

I have a Mosin Nagant, and a M1 Garand, don't have a picture at the moment of the M1 Garand. And right now the gun cabinet it is in is behind a lot of boxes, and I don't feel like moving them.

I also have a M4 Sherman, M18 Hellcat, Panzer IV Ausf. H, Panther Ausf. G, Tiger I Ausf. E, and a Kingtiger:mellow:..... Too bad they are all 1:144 scale models.:(

Here's my stash.

My law enforcement friends often like to come by on Saturdays to admire 'em.

very nice my friend! my friend owns a a bunch of WWII stuff, like an m1 garand, actual army helmet, german paratrooper helmet (with a bullet hole), bandoliers, army jacket, canteens, etc. his grandfather also has a carbine, which my friend will obtain one day.

he also owns an actual 1943 Jeep, complete with just about all of the original items found on one. this jeep also happens to be in the movie Patton, if I'm correct. it's the seen where there driving into the beach at the beginning. sadly, the jeep can only top around 35 mph...

Nice collections you got there and skippy... the zombie apocalypse isn't coming any time soon so you don't need to stash the weapons that much ;)

About all I own that is WWII-era is some German postcards. My grandmother has the rest of my Grandpa's stuff locked away. Nice rifles! Up North of me in Fayetteville, Arkansas there's this amazing museum that has rifles, jeeps, videos, posters, and even planes from WWII on display. If your ever around there, you need to check it out.

With the exception of planes, the best WWII museum is right here in Colorado Springs. It is a private collection and with a tour every Sunday morning or during the week by appointment only. Absolutely everything in it is from 1941-1945.
