PC gaming aficionados, we hear you. And today, we are very happy to announce that L.A. Noire will be arriving on the PC platform this fall.

Developed by Rockstar Leeds and built to run on a wide range of PCs, L.A. Noire's robust feature customization includes keyboard remapping and gamepad functionality to both optimize and customize performance and user experience. Along with increased fidelity and improved graphical enhancements, the PC version will also feature 3D support for an even greater sense of interaction and immersion within a painstakingly detailed 1940s Los Angeles.

Originally developed by Team Bondi in conjunction with Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire is a crime thriller set in post World War II Los Angeles. As Detective Cole Phelps, players must search for clues, interrogate suspects and chase down criminals to solve a series of cases based on real world incidents. As he rises through the ranks of the LAPD, Phelps comes face-to-face with the corrupt heart of Los Angeles: from fallen starlets to double-dealing police officers and the vast reaches of the criminal underworld and finally, the darkness of his own personal demons.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! I was looking forward to it so much but when I saw it was console only I raged so much!

So I can fall asleep at my computer instead of on my couch.... This ranks up with Minecraft as one of the most boring stupidest ideas for a game ever IMO. Zero Punctuations review of LA Noire was pretty much dead on.

I completely disagree, I enjoyed L.A. Noire.

Rockstar always seems late to the party when it comes to PC.

It had a great story but no way in hell I would buy the game for full price... Wish they would of brought RDR for PC :/

this game is by the same people who made the Getaway for PS2...I wouldn't expect anything from it AT ALL. There is a reason why Sony let them go, Team Soho are an incompetent studio

I'm I the only person who enjoyed the first Getaway?

I loved the story and game play was on par for what was out at the time.

But like the rest I hope it plays better then GTA4 did. Even tho they ended up fixing it a bunch with patches.

But the one thing I HATE was that it was made only for the Xbox 360 game pad... GTA4 was one of the few games I played with a game pad and it was annoying having to retool my Rumble Pad to make it work :/

Sony didn't let Team Soho go, they merged them with SCE London Studio. Team Bondi is run by the former head of Team Soho back in 2003, which was before the Getaway sequel came out. Team Bondi =/= Team Soho.

Oooh, I'm so excited that the PC will have all these new, innovative features...
You know, they can just say they're porting it. It's not really too big of a deal. I'm just glad it's coming to PC.

ITT People who want every game to be an action game cry about how this game sucks.

Personally I find the game quite charming. Like Sam & Max set in a more active, realistic setting.

My point was that LA Noire started out as a PS3 exclusive funded by Sony. After multiple European failures (Lair, Heavenly Sword etc) Sony cut back big time on the Euro dev scene. A lot of people were fired but Sony gave this game to R*

From what I have read the game sucks and totally falls apart in the end which was to be expected.

Honestly I would rather have the RDR for PC instead of this crap

...but that wasn't your point at all. You specifically stated that the game was bad because of its association with Team Soho. That and because Team Soho was incompetent Sony let them go...which never happened, in fact Sony merged the studio into their London operation.

Then again, I guess it makes sense to comment on the quality of game that you haven't played by basing it on the quality of a game that was released almost a decade ago.

The poor port of GTA IV is the reason they didn't make Red Dead Redemption for PC. It made me buy a PS3. It was a good choice. And I'm gonna order L.A. Noire for PS3 because I think that they will just port the game and it'll be filled with bugs.

Ya ill try la noire, but only if i have a spare keyboard & mouse available connected to my ps3. same goes for red dead redemption.

hmm good point there! You are totally correct, getway was made 10 years ago by a different team in the UK while this game was made in Australia.

This renders my previous posts invalid, guess I will buy the PS3 version when the price drops and check it out. I have loved most of the "open world games" I have played this gen

GTA4, GTA4 Stories, Mafia 2, Red Faction Guerrilla (best game ever!), Infamous (second fav)etc XD

Why put the game on PC 4-5 Months after the console launch. Most people would have got to the spoilers and more then likely own it on console... Got to love how Rockstar is late with PC.

From the looks of it Team Bondi didn't bother with a PC version of the game. So it was left to Rockstar to port the game after the console release. Frankly, it's a little hard to blame Rockstar for this situation.

i Think it could be good. but i might buy it for my 360. all i know is that i wont buy it until the price drops
