Hi guys I have had lot of "e's" ask me about getting promoted , and I would like to point out that when playing you should be friendly and helpfull to the other player's Pubs and "e's" and be mature never lose it when your team is doing badly go and show them what to do, set an example and dont complain about the snipers or mg"ers not doing their job, give friendly advice. Remember if you cant say something nice dont say anything. These are only my thoughts and thats how I play, I hope it can help some of you to promotion.

And also there is one thing that I'd like to point out. When we admins ask people to even up the teams, if an e hops over to the other side, to me it shows that you are knowledgeable of the rules and you try to aspire into fulfilling them regardless how good/bad you are on the other side. And that shows the initiative which to me at least is important in this clan.

It is also helpful to get your name out there by participating in the forums in a positive way and by getting to know people in ventrilo. The important thing here is to be friendly and helpful. Nobody wants a whining Admin.

As said before, being active in ventrilo, on the forums and things such as that all contribute to your chances of being promoted. It's important to consider the fact that being promoted is a privilege and not a right given out to everyone eventually. It's all about getting to know everyone, showing you understand the rules and just being a general all around good member. Don't play with us here at edgegamers for a promotion, play with us because of the fantastic community that has been built from the ground up.

Well said. Remember, Edgegamers is more than just servers. We are a community. When we say be active, it means try to be active in every aspect of eGO. This includes, events, ventrilo, forums, and servers.

We understand that real life can be busy, however, it's not hard to hop on vent to chat it up while you play or stop by an event once in awhile or even post a productive thread on the forums every once in awhile.
