When I first found eGO my long quest for servers that could offer not only great gaming experiences but also no discrimination about my race and my roots, was finally over; several years surfing the Web, from CS 1.5 until I found this organization on July 7th, 2009.
Supposedly the proximity of my homeland with the US makes it somehow easier to learn the language, even that joining eGO became the greatest challenge, not only to coexist with people that will only understand one idiom, but with ladies and gentlemen around the world that seem to speak it perfectly. I must confess that the first two or three months I truly felt the weight of ignorance, because it will never be the same to speak the language with your natives than with people that develop and express ideas way faster than you and expect an answer at the same speed. Belonging here have been the greatest source of friendship and knowledge I could ever had, related to foreign cultures around the globe (and how to AFK like a professional: thanks Ric).
To avoid any sort of misunderstanding I decided to establish my origins from the moment I stepped in the organization: I am Mexican, proud of my culture and my land. It is true that even though I am not the only foreign member, I believe I am one of the few that come from a 3rd world country (or shall we call it, ?developing nations?, to avoid political debates). Facing discrimination of every sort in the past in other servers, it did not took me long to realize that Edge Gamers would be my new and permanent home. Since I joined I have never faced hatred again, (except when Shadow19 says that listening to me its like watching Telemundo, which I am absolutely sure must be pretty close to reality, hahaha).
Since I joined eGO I have played Jail, and Jail have been my home and domain. I can assure that until my enchilada?s stroked heart stop to work, I shall everyday ask
"T?s to shift walk out of your damn cells: ST?s get the hell out of my sight!!.... And do not forget to RABBLE LIKE A G6?
Last but not less important, I want to use this humble space to continue the tradition of those who get the 2nd anniversary award, to thank those members who gave me their friendship and whom I hope I gave my friendship back, with the same big love: Jomigirock, Shadow19, BeanieJ, Ninja Skittlez, Black Angel, Baneling, Jensen, Root Beer, Trickky, KR Decade, Boe Jangles, Shift (RIP), Korea_xD (RIP), SubGoat, SuperSillyGecko, _MEGA, Sofie (RIP), Clarissa, Martyr, and my recent but not less valued friends VP-77, Eggheart, Phantom373, Vishnu, Sama123, Righton, SpecialForces-Panda, mau5trap, LadyFace, and everyone else who I do not mention here (because the size of the list truly is huge) but who I keep close in my Chacha?s heart as well.
Thank you all, boyz and gurlz, for giving this lawyer with funny accent an awesome ride.
OK, now I?m done, I?m going back to Jail, those freekillers won?t be punished by themselves!
