Recommended specs for BF3?

anyone have an idea of the recommended specs for BF3? im currently running a computer i built 5 years ago with an update to the processor and to the graphics card. I will list my specs below. i run BC2 on Max graphics with a steady 75FPS.

OS: Windows 7 (64bit)
Processor: Pentium Quad-Core at 3.0GHz over-clocked at 4.0Ghz
RAM: DDR3 4.00GB
Graphics Card: Dual ATI Radeon 5770 (Sorry for all those who think ATI is crap=P)
Dual 24" Samsung Monitors
 
I honestly don't see what else you can improve on...I think you'll be just fine for BF3.

I'm on a Q6600 with a GTX 460 768mb and runs BF2 fine...so I don't see BF3 being TOO intensive.
 
alright that sounds good i didnt know if i would be set or what? as the 64 player maps sound like their going to be running alot of resources to play x.x
 
honestly you should be A ok... I'd go 8gb of ram :), but than again I enjoy going overboard :)

It's my opinion that BF3 will have roughly the same requirements as BC2, the reason being it will be more highly optimized (as it is being developed primarily around the PC). One of the largest issues with BC2 is that it is CPU-intensive due to being a console port. It is likely that even with the graphics improvements and such, BF3 won't be much more intense than BC2. You shouldn't have much of an issue running medium graphics with that setup.

What's that ATI you're talking about? I only know AMD graphics!! ;)

you should be able to play BF3 very decent and a + you can run directx 11 so... no problem for you!
 
i would atleast upgrade the GPU. I would get a 560 atleast or maybe a 570 if your have more money. Im not upgrading my CPU either until Ivy bridge and I might just sli my 460's if i can get a 100$ 460 1gb.
 
and thanks for everyones response! i was just worried that it may be too intensive for my rig haha..

why would you upgrade if your current one can do 4.0, silly man.
