I really wish people would stop breaking the NDA... They should appreciate the fact that DICE/EA is even letting them play the game this early.
For real if they gave access to me I would hide it from all you and my own self if I could.

It is very hard not to break the NDA, either to gloat saying "oh ho I can play this awesome game before you" or to show other people how awesome it is and make them excited for it. But OT, I always wanted to do that but figured I'd get lit up trying to....

Easy there fun police!:thumbdown: I don't see how this affects you considering you are not DICE or EA. I personally appreciate when people post alpha footage because it gives me something to drool over till october.

I'm not trying to kill any fun here Tanner, just stating my opinion. IF I were EA/DICE, and this continued to occur, i just wouldn't hand out alpha invitations and you guys could just deal with whatever crap game came out later.

Really? You would make that call? Well I guess were all lucky that EA/DICE are able to weigh pros and cons better than you panda 
Obviously they knew that if they had a closed alpha some people would leak footage, but they at least recognized that testing and building a great game is more important than keeping everything under wraps till launch. To bail out at this point would make them seem very foolish for assuming people would honour the NDA in the first place (which I'm sure they did not lol)
If the game is good people will buy it regardless of whether or not alpha footage was leaked so I don't really see the disadvantage, where as the disadvantage of releasing a sub par game (especially considering how much trash talking they've done about COD) is they don't sell as many copies and they lose their fan base.

I'm sure EA/Dice is aware that leaking of vids had a good probability of happening, but I have to say, all the leaked footage, everyone of them i've seen is impressive, made further more impressive considering it is alpha testing. This is prolly doing BF3 more good than harm, IMO.

While I'm sure they know that and they knew it would happen, I meant that as a player I wouldn't break the NDA out of simple gratitude that they allowed me the opportunity to play their game as early as I was. It's just disrespectful from my point of view, that's all. I never said anything about leaked footage hurting the amount of units sold for a game. The game is good, people knew that before they even announced an alpha, so the point is null. Also, MW3 will be a major let down and everyone knows it, they just have their fanbase and it'll be gone soon as well, which is slightly unfortunate.

I agree with you somewhat. While I would not break it out of respect for EA/DICE and because I am a rule follower, if someone else is going to post the videos, I won't feel bad watching.

jets and choppers will probably appear in the beta, when more ppl start playing it.
