Help a friend play HoN

What's up guys.

So, I don't know how many of you know me, as it's been a pretty long time since i SERIOUSLY played CS. But I'm asking for your help if you're willing to give it.

I am a HoN freak. I play it A LOT. I'm trying to convince eGO to add HoN to the Strat division. In order for that to happen, it needs people to start playing HoN regularly.

As of right now, HoN is selling for $10 which is $20 less than usual. It's a one time, non-reoccurring fee. I know most people will say LoL is free, so why pay for HoN... but it's worth the money to me.

If anybody is interested in playin HoN, check out the forum. Also, feel free to PM/write on my wall with any questions.

If you do, then you should go to the HoN forum in the RTS section. I'm tryin to organize a weekly game for eGO members.

I have to admit, the HoN community sucks. But my goal is to have enough eGO members that we would play 1 (or more) pub games w/just eGO.
 
I bought HoN not to long ago to see if it was any good. I have to say it is kinda like LoL but not really at all. The shop is confusing so i have no idea what i'm buying half the time.

I do however like the game play from it. It seems to be a bit more skill intensive. The 1 thing thats strange is everyone is free. The good perk is that you don't need to grind to play that character you always wanted, but at the same time new players have no idea what any of them do in game.

It's a hard game to start from what i have seen.
 
HoN is only complicated if you play LoL, HoN is more the direct port (Heroes and Items) of Dota then LoL. Trust me, you get what you pay for

You are ABSOLUTELY correct in what you just said. And this is the exact reason people prefer LoL to HoN. If you never played the DotA mod on Warcraft 3, then you have no idea how this game goes, and it's a steep learning curve.

However, I am offering 1 on 1 lessons with people. I've played DotA for over 2 years before HoN came out, and HoN ever since it came out. I'm not a PRO, but i'm good enough. If you like the gameplay, then hit me up and I'll help you beat the learning curve as much as possible.
