HoN Lessons

Hey guys.

So as HoN has a very steep learning curve, even if you have played LoL, I'm gonna offer lessons to people. 1 on 1, just so that I can explain how the game works. If you're interested, hit me up on my eGO profile, or steam, or add me in HoN under the IGN _Gandalf_.

I played DotA for more than two years, and have played HoN ever since the beta was released. I'm not a PRO, but i can help any beginners get past that learning curve.

And by friend I assume you mean me...

Yea I had a horrible couple games, and CLoud gave me a bunch of sites to look at to help, but not really into having to read 60 pages(exaggerated) to at least have a decent game. So might have to hit you up and give the game another try, cause I like LoL and wouldn't mind an alternative on occasion.

For sure man. Just hit me up. my IGN on HoN is _Gandalf_. Add me on steam too. We'll set up a time and I'll help you get past the learning curve. Since you've played LoL, the gameplay strategies are fairly similar, the hard thing is just gonna be the Shop, The heroes and abilities, and some gameplay stuff particular to HoN. And that's what I can help with. So hit me up. I'd hate to see people not play because of the learning curve.

I only have one question: is there any way to get a mod or something to make the UI more user friendly? Or any settings to use or something? I smash my face against my keyboard trying to figure out what to do in it sometimes.

there are other UI's you can use. if you go to the heroes of newerth website and look at the top navigation bar, there's one that says Forum. Click that, then find the forum that says Modifications and click. In that forum is several groups of modifications, one of which being UI mods. The most recommended version of UI that i've heard is BardUI. But you can choose whatever you want. If you want any help other than this, feel free to ask, or we can play.

Also, make sure and add your IGN to the sticky in the main HoN forum
