Limbo just released on Steam for $9.99. There's also a demo for it.
It's a dark and very atmospheric platformer.
Midweek Madness this week is Anomaly: Warzone Earth for $3.33
A "reverse" tower defense game, where instead of laying down towers to defend against hordes of creeps, YOU are the creeps laying siege to the towers.
Earth has come under attack, in Baghdad and Tokyo, by sphere-esque energy fields that envelop the two cities. Your job is to take control of the hero and escort your line of creeps (I'm on mission 4 so far and it's only APC's and Missile Crawler Mechs atm) through different street routes in order to reach a specific location that holds your objective.
While your creeps run on rails (i.e. the street routes you set), the hero you control is free to move about freely and pick up powerups that you will use to aid your creeps in getting to their destination alive.
There are side objectives to accomplish as well and the alien forces will place nasty obstacles in the pathways of your intended routes often so you will be forced to change your routes on the fly to keep them alive.
Total Biscuit did a WTF video of Anomaly 4 months back if anyone wants to see. There is also a demo on Steam to try. For a little over three dollars, I found it a very nice buy.
