Pretty sure I'm going Republic. Although I had heard in a recent interview that any of the classes can be light side or dark side, so I'm intrigued by the possibility of a Light Side Sith.

Light / dark has nothing to do with faction. But faction can determine which class you can play. Basically you get lightside/ Darkside points for the decisions you make. So you can make a choices as a Jedi that gives you Darkside points. So ,basically if you can be a Darkside Jedi but you'll still be apart of the Republic, it wont switch you over to the Empire

Yup, that's exactly what I was assuming. I'm curious as to what gameplay/story options are opened/closed depending on how your story plays out.

I gues ill start with Republic , i have a feeling lots of little children are gonna roll Sith because they wanna be the bad guy , but also got a feeling that they gonna go jedi because its what they like about the movies.
