Gotta say, I loves me some Call Of Duty. The only real question at this point is XBox or PC, maybe both!

Really? After the disasters that were MW2 and BO, you're gonna buy MW3?
BO was an expected disaster. You're calling MW2 a disaster? No. great game. If MW2 was a disaster, what do you call a good game? :blink:
Explain your reasoning behind calling MW2 a disaster. No dedicated servers? Boo-Hoo, it's not like the game-play was not solid.

BO was a disaster, yes. MW2 was a great game, both single and multiplayer. But we need to know what you consider a great game. Please fill us in.

The Xbox MW2 was terrible. They didn't do anything about hackers and modded game modes. Go into a game now and you'll probably see a hacker or two. D:

So much for innovation.
So far I have seen nothing from this game that stands out from it's predecessors in any meaningful way (this "new" gametype notwithstanding). They're really going to have to knock it out of the park when they unveil the updates to traditional multiplayer modes and progression/streaks to win me over... something they've consistently failed to do since MW1 came out, unfortunately.

Yes, no dedicated servers = failure. I never played MW2 on IWnet because I heard how horrible the online experience due to the system they set up, which is why when alterIW came along, it fixed what IW was not willing to fix and I enjoy playing on MW2 dedicated servers now.

Games with dedicated servers that can be configured properly without a ton of restrictions is the number 1 criteria for me to even consider buying a game.

Haters going to hate. Shame that it's going to be two players on, but hey I like those type of game modes because they can offer hours of fun. As for the people hating on the graphics it will be running on a newier version of Call of Duty engine. Just like Valve they just update their engine until they're ready to build or already building a new one. I just don't understand the CoD hate. If you have nothing nice to say keep dont say anything at all.

Honestly, the COD series is simply being rehashed over and over. They're releasing mods and calling them full games.

You're seriously going to compare cod to valve games? Half life, counter strike, team fortress, left 4 dead, portal, and day of defeat ALL use the same exact "out dated" engine yet pump out amazingly unique, completely different, intuitive, and critically acclaimed games. Yeah, we know they "update" the engine along the way, but compare half life 1 and portal 2 and then cod 2 and mw3...

Did I say I was comparing the games nope. :facewall: I was stating that companies usually get updating the same engine until they're ready to make a new one. Most likely when the PS4 and Xbox 3 come out we will start seeing new engines.
