i think itd be cool to throw a tf2 item giveaway

like everyone perticipates and givesa random item to the server hoster

im not sure how this well work,but evry1 thats in the server gets a new item just for playing and attending the event

this would be really helpful for the people that never find anything

We've tried to do something like this in the past, however item raffles and the like are not allowed in EdgeGamers.

While there aren't any raffles, Sometimes during events the EC's do give out hats, items, and all that good stuff.

So just donate em in game to an Event Coordinator, or anyone in tf2 leadership.

I don't like this idea just having a raffle where a random person could win if they want a prize they should try to win an event and get a prize that way instead of a random person getting a prize.

It isn't even necessary. We have plenty of events and when you're 1st, 2nd, or 3rd you receive a prize. Good enough for me.

The problem is, we don't have enough items to give a prize at most events. We usually have 3 or 4 events where we give out prizes. Unless the EC gives out his own hats/items. So its hard for us ECs.

Spy Crab event > Raffle

Not meaning to rain on the parade, but I find it more nerve racking and fun to do Spy Crabs

There's a lot of chance to get items in TF2 already:

1) Recruiting
2) Events, if you win...
3) Sometimes, recruiting contest.

The raffle does sound awesome to me but it isn't allowed nor do we have enough prizes to give away. Spycrabbin sounds like a good idea! :thumbup:
