Hi guys - just a quick question.
I was invited to join EGO by a member playing on a css server I was on. My first response was sorry bud but I'm already clan leader of another clan to which he responded "Don't worry it's more like a community"
After reading some of the posts here on the forum it does sound rather like a clan.
Can someone clear this up for me as my clan don't allow duel clanning.

"Clan" is a meme created to distinguish a group of people sharing a goal inside a game...pretty much the definition of community.

I know someone who is in a clan and is in this community. I think its perfectlly fine if your a clan leader. You can ask for advice by people on our forum, or if you want your clan to scrim with our css scrim team, I think that would be cool.

A clan usually has certain requirements such as skill level. Edgegamers only has that you're over 13 and agree to the rules. And you play 1 of the games in a division.

You don't have to be over 13. Just that if you are under 13 we are bound by law to have approval from parents for them to join.

The line during the application that would most likely apply to you I would think is:

while in-game, EdgeGamers members must have our tag in front and any other clan tag at the back of the player name.

If you are running another clan, you may have a problem with that. If so, that is fine and we certainly welcome you as part of our forums and in our games.
