ive been with eGO for over 3 years. played in their servers for another 3 before that. i <3 eGO servers because its the only place i can go without being hassled. alot of you dont know i'm a female.

so let me introduce myself. to all tf2 community.

my name is ellen. im 39. im a mother of 2. my husband and i share this handle because for years we've gamed using the same name. i usually do all the gaming because he is enlisted overseas. i usually play DOD:S those are my roots. my little brother got me into playing tf2. ever since ive been hooked.

so now that u know who i am. please feel free to ask me any questions. i dont bite.

i ask one thing. please respect me and my fellow female gamers. im not out to headhunt anyone who uses vulgar, disgusting, inappropriate sexual comments i have a very thick skin. when i was in the navy i was stationed with an entire brigade of marines as a corpsman. so ive heard it all.

this post is not directed to anyone in particular. just a general post to everyone.

Girls playing video games? YA RIGHT!!! We all know the "girl" behind the gamer tag SexyPrincess, or Darth Barbara, or AnGeLPWNZnOObs really looks like this......

All joking aside. I have gamed with many women who have told me stories of the crap they go through, and it would piss me off if that stuff happened to me (sadly, it never would, because I would verbally destroy nerds). I'm glad this place is the way it is so you can have a fun, relaxing, awesometastic environment to play.

I'm female too (Well, MtF TS, but I think it counts) and tbh, Ego is quite nice about female gamers. Or maybe it's my bias for all the "Angel is a GIRL?!?!?!" comments on the Mesa server, but they die down quickly (which is when I bring it up again )

Tbh, there are quite a few girl gamers. The only one who I think it's most noticeable is Mental Buga, but that's because she and her BF go heavy/medic and annoy EVERYONE so often it's impossible to ignore her (well, until she's backstabbed by moi, but that's another story)

Anyway, rant over: We don't mind that you're female. But you're from the DoD community?
