its kinda like when Source came out in 04.... Many of the conversations going on today about CSGO are the same ones that happened ~8 years ago. You can kinda predict what is going to happen based on CS and CSS today.

Pretty much. The 5vs5 part was kinda odd... but they said custom servers could be setup, to retain the 20vs20 we get currently?

I don't see myself getting it right away... heck it took me 8 years to get CS:S.

Yeah that isn't going to happen. Companies have tried that before and Console companies like Microsoft did not allow it. Consoles and PCs don't go together and microsoft and sony know that.

Just think of all the crybabies on X-box who are going to get OWNED by us PC users....it's not even going to be fair!

I mean, I don't care, I have a good PC and I don't need to play it on x-box or PS3....but I can almost hear the complaining now, and the game isn't out yet lol

This makes no sense. Judging this game by its cover would be like seeing the title of the game and not wanting it. The point of a trailer IS too judge the game.

I'm pretty sure he meant it as a way of saying not to judge it without playing the actual game. Similar to the way you shouldn't judge a book without reading it.

They wont cross platform it. They are trying to but it wont happen. Microsoft has already said NO to multiple games trying to crossplatform with the 360 and sony will most likely be no different.

There have been various reports in the past few days about Valve aiming for cross-platform play but we can now confirm that the title will indeed offer cross-platform play between PS3 and PC. Yeap, it?s official everyone as it was revealed in the first trailer of Counter-Strike: GO that the game will actually feature it.

atleast microsoft wont cross platform it so it wont be a total failure if i play it on my xbox
