eGO UK Meetup!?

Any of you English eGOers fancy a meetup sometime in future?
By in future, we are no way organized, and have no idea where to go, what to do, who to blame for the awful meetup and why we did it in the first place.
But hey! Here goes.

In 2012/13 onwards, we thought it'd be a nice idea for the british edge gamers to have a little gathering in London some time. Everything will be discussed nearer the time, and probably communicated by text rather than a completely public forum. :)

If you fancy coming, have an idea or think this idea is stupid and you hate it, please give us some feed back so we can improve or something?

The probably destination will be London, but Guildford, Reading, THE SEA SIDE :scared: :cool: and where ever is possible, throw me a PM or comment here if you have any ideas!

I think you should have a meetup at a pub or somethin. I dont think their parents would like their kids to say "Mom, can I go to a park where I met with a bunch of people on the internet?"

It might be different how they handle it in Europe, but here. My mom would say

You need to understand not everyone is 12 or 13, and need there mothers permission to go somewhere lol.

Londons a far far away, I wouldnt be able to go...sorry
 
I'm up North and London/Guildford/Reading are all kind of out of my way so I doubt I'd bother. I've been to all three places though and they're nice.
 
London is just a 30 min train journey away from me.

So it sounds like an idea. But obviously, age will restrict what we can do (under 18's = no pubs).

I say we all meet in central london and book a booth just for eGO members on the London eye, then we stick stickers on it and mark it with markers so everyone knows its eGO's booth!
 
If you can get enough people it'd be a good idea
