today i was offered a place in the 13th airborne clan but i would have to drop the ego tag meaning id have to leave i have never been offered a spot in a clan before and these guys look really good so what should i do leave u guys my brothers and try somewhere else or stay hear??

P.S. i want 2 hear your guys opinions so i don't want admins saying it your choice and closing the thread.
 
The problem is you are looking for someone to tell you not to go. But the truth is, what you don't want to hear is most applicable. It is your decision. If you are unhappy here, you need to figure out for yourself why that is, and if switching clans will fix that. If it is more of a DoD specific issue then it probably won't. If you enjoy playing with people in another clan, then it probably will.

If you are looking for a more competitive environment and you think you will have a better shot at that somewhere else then you have your answer. If you enjoy gaming and events here, then why ask the question.

Personally I like you, and would prefer you stay, but only if you want to. Good luck in whatever you choose.
 
I agree with sumac on this one. I've not been playing with you a lot but you seem like a good guy but ultimately, it's your decision.

+1 From the time that I have spent playing with you and talking with you, I can tell that you are a great guy! I'd hate to see you go, but its your call.

Nah, never took em. The main thing to look at is the community. The 13th AB isn't good enough to render leaving ego over an invite spot I mean for goodness sake they're part of 9000+ To be honest I Wouldn't leave eGO for the #1 ranked realism unit. But it's your call. If you're not a close enough part of the eGO community as the rest of us are it may be a better place

And to be honest, skill wise? with the exception of Rambo and Duck being decent players (some would say good non-realism players) I could throw together a makeshift team of players in eGO last minute(As in whoever's online) and still outdo the 13th.

Thats how we will do it then. Realism against the 13th, if eGO wins, you stay, if we dont (which wont happen), you go :p

Seriously though, from the times I have played with you you are a great guy and I would hate to see you leave.
 
you do realize that you can do both correct?

eGO allows you to double clan with the caveat that when you join an eGO server, you wear the eGO tag in front of your name.

You may be a participant in both communities.

they dont allow it i have to change my name to J.Robertson and have to have my rank in front they wont let me have the ego clan tag

I think whats C-whits trying to tell you is that when you play on eGO servers you can change your name to put the =(e)= tag on, and when you play in the other clan's servers or pub it up you can use your other name. So just change your name when you change servers.

In any case its your decision, no one can make it but you.

Wether you stay or go, you're still welcome in our forums and servers.
 
I don't get why you can't join that clan and still continue to play with people from eGO when you want to. You're not joining a sect, it's a gaming community.
 
Stay here! You can be in both, just don't use are tag in their servers.

Remember, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. This community is about having fun and sharing it with each other. What ever you decide, make sure it is what YOU want.
