(Before you go nuts)BF3: No battlerecorder, no spectator mode, no In-Game VOIP....

Well that's the usual thing that happens but I am still getting BF3.

The positive and negative effects always come about but the decision is ours to make.

usually this happend since day 1 including BC2 day 1 launch if any of you remember

da

people want things and we don't get them in the final version just because the developers know that we going to get it anyhow b/c we addicted. Lets just see what happens and we'll go from there.

Never played a battlefield where you could actually spectate an individual

GameSpy: Are you toning the flashlights down a bit?

Lars:
Yeah, they should be much better at release.

Thank god:thumbup:

The only thing I care about is the Commo-rose

First person spectating: wasn't in any of the others if I remember, so why does it matter?

In-Game VOIP: It has never really been a staple of BF and would most likely result in spammers anyway

Battlerecorder: I've never understood what this is, so I assume it is unimportant.

That first linked article was great though. It sounds like they're really listening to the community and fixing the problems. Especially the flashlight lol.

i am thinking why spectatice was suggestion by BF community there are some server admin have problem to do who is hacking hunting type. or claim to be a hacker

only importmant to the game is squad management of me only

thats at least good news that they are working on bringing out the commo rose (thank god) and from playing beta having a commo rose will be nice, having that pesky flashlight toned down (i got blinded by teammates more often than enemies outside in the day maps, go figure), and i really couldnt care less about the spectating or battle recorder modes its not a huge deal for me as an admin since when someone hacks, its usually pretty obvious to me, plus thats why you can check their stats to see if they have a 100% headshot ratio with a LMG with over 50 kills

i look at their K/D Ratio and acculare in their stats so and compare it while they playing without them knowning

LMG with over 50 kills that is okay cause pretty much you are suppressing fire to enemy while in cover

Looks like they are making the changes that need to be made. The little features like Battlerecorder and ingame Voip I could care less about, too many idiots in the world. The Commo-rose would be a great addition really hope they get that in there.... 25th can't come soon enough. Thanks for posting this Sailor Chibimoon nice to see what their plans are.

In-game VOIP was a pretty handy package in BF 2 and BF 2142. It was useful for small groups to communicate whom didn't necessarily know each other.

Battlerecorder was the ability to re-visit past matches that you have played and watching replays by fly-bys, following, etc. I think it should be a huge part of the BF3, for those who want to share their awesome grenade/EOD/MAV/whatever experience.

So it sounds sorta like "we've got all this fairly important stuff down and then we'll see how other things go and see if we should add other stuff" not to surprised there. Still so excited for it though, gonna be awesome.

Commo-rose will be a lovely function. Voice is broken and rarely used in Bc2, plus it gets recruits onto our Ventrilo. Doesn't upset me in the least, chat makes it harder to communicate and more intense in my honest opinion. We'll see where EA goes. It seems they're opening doors for us as well as themselves.

- In-game voice worked well when people used in BF2142. Why [DICE] seems to constantly abandon this feature is beyond me.

- Battlerecorder is awesome because you were able to replay an entire round from a spectator point of view (think of it as the record button of FPS). I enjoyed it because you could make some epic movies from it.

- Spectating is great for checking on a cheater if need be. Makes things easier for an Admin.

As long as the spectating is only team sided, of course. But I totally agree with you there.

Took the words about spectating and battle recording out of my mouth. Battle recording=demo=easier to catch cheaters. In order to battle record a cheater need first person spectate.

well from what i noticed...bf2 and bf2142 i used mic a good bit, bad company i dont thinki ever had my mic plugged in
