A tale for you, TF2 division, this Very Scary Halloween Special:
I'm not one to usually buy from the Mann Co. Store, but I saw "The Last Breath", and I knew, "It must, nay, it WILL be mine!" Luckily, I have some disposable income.
Combined with the new Ghastlierest Gibus (it clips with my normal Bill's hat) and the Bombinomicon, I had one scary lookin' pyro.
However, All Hallow's Friday Night was not done with me yet. As I played on Eyeaduct and the new eGO 24/7 Halloween server, a gift notification appeared. I can't explain it, but I felt the presence of Silas Mann lead me to the gift, not having even SEEN one on the map before. I stepped on it just before it became solid and did the TF2 equivalent of "boxing out", for those of you familiar with the basketball term: massive fire in all directions to keep unwanted guests from claiming my bounty. I was pleasantly surprised to find a set of the "Fallen Angel" in the box, the one item that I liked when looking through the costumes. Pyro become a true demon in appearance. Fortune smiled upon me this Scream Fortress.
Now, I've always played a decent pyro. Maybe even an above average one. I don't know what it was about tonight though, the current players on the eGO Halloween server, the new items...but I played some of the best pyro of my life, topping the leaderboard several times. As my burning body count grew higher and higher with each charred corpse added, I knew: my pyro had become the eGO server's own Harbinger of Death & Sorrow.

Pyro and I look forward to, uh, playing with the rest of you during this event. >
Happy Halloweek and Scream Fortress, eGO!
