What Will Your "Main" Be?

I'm still tossed on which of two classes I want to be my main character when the game launches in December. I can't imagine I'm the only one. So I figure if the people who are solid on what they're playing vote around, we can see what is needed.

I had thought of going by class, but I'm not sure that's as relevant as what role you plan to fill in group or raid play.

Pick the main role that you plan to fill. That means that you will be spending your points with the primary focus of fulfilling that role in a group. Not that you will be a DPS that happens to have healing skills, but call yourself a healer in the survey.

Vote honestly. Don't vote based on what you think we want. This poll won't end up being accurate in the long run anyway. People will quit the game, people will level up at different rates, people will give up on a class and switch to something else.

Healer for my main.

Probably a Bounty Hunter (DPS) for my 2nd toon I start.

I plan to play a tank and healer. I'm leaning towards tank because I enjoy leading the way through group/raid content. But I tend to notice in MMOs that healers are in greater demand because they're not as fun to play for most people.

I'll probably just do DPS and maybe try out healing, but that's not certain. I'm still trying to figure it out.

As much as I like the dual saber ways of the marauder I find i'll likely wind up playing Juggernaut because I have this habit of charging into combat during group flashpoints faster then the tank in the beta will.

When it comes to PvE, DPS. But I spent a great deal of tme looking at all the Bounty Hunter Talent Trees (class tres whatever they are called) and I will probabbly end up having a mixture of healing and DPS under the Merc advanced skill set. I plan to PvP a lot more then PvE though.

i imagine i will have one of each but my main will be a tank and then my other main will be whatever i decide is bawse in pvp. btw, anyone know if there is an arena system or ranked pvp in this game?

The server is going to be picked by BioWare. So we don't know.

Sith Inquisitor, which will lead into Sith Sorcerer, and from there I will spec probably mostly into Lightning.

Everyone on the eGO Empire Guild will end up on the same server. Same for the eGO Republic Guild. However the two guilds may not be on the same server.

The two guilds will end up on the same server because the leaders set them up as "Enemies," meaning we want to compete in PvP and thus be on the same server.
