Some concept art for a web comic, im thinking about making. Any input would be lovely.

Bit of back story: Each person is born in a cloak, they cannot remove it, it is part of their body/soul. Your cloak gets destroyed you die.

What if the cloak just gets damaged a little? Would it just be like a flesh wound? Oh! and if it gets damaged, do they feel pain? (sorry for the flood of questions xD)


Also I really like the third image down, the colors are nice. AND ZOMBIEEEEEE
 
A cut in the fabric is like a cut IRL, and when a chunk is taken out is like a flesh wound yes. Also yes they feel pain. That guys not a "zombie" in the traditional sense, hes alive but hes taken the cloth of other people and added it to himself to make himself stronger. Thats why its different colors.

O_O (that makes sense) That makes it even better than just a zombie... Very interesting!

AND, since theirs no such thing as "cloth" other than flesh, in order to stich a wound you need to use hair. O.O



How could I make the main char unique? I was thinking of multi-colors, like how people have two different color eyes. He could have a white stripe or something.

That is creepy. But still awesome. xD

Hmm... well is there a limited color range for the cloaks, like how skin colors are? Even just the design of the cloth could be unique like the ends being pointy or curled? But multi colors sounds cool... like having the ends be darker (gradient almost?) than the rest? (like the sleeve ends and the hood end etc.?)

I was thinking something like that, additions to the cloak are like pearcings IRL. Skin colors would prolly be limited to the light grey-white range.

No, but I do this with all my clothes. It rips or tears i patch it up with another thing. How I got the name "Ragman".
