First off, haven't been very active due to school and other games outside of Steam and Edgegamers, Anyway...

I saw fps' post about a background he made and it reminded me of something I made in 2009 which added Shortcuts for the CSS Servers on the Main CSS Menu for easy access to Edgegamers servers. So I updated it and added the link here.

Simply extract the GameMenu.Res folder to

C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\Steamapps\<YourUsername>\CounterStrikeSource\Cstike\Resource\

Pretty cool idea! Will this work with fps' background? Or any custom background in-general?

I remember seeing something like this in a previous clan of mine.

Nice work!

I'm no expert, but I would think that it does. However, some Source games like Team Fortress 2 does not use the standard Source engine menu.

Well, well, well, what do you know, another handy link. Thanks for this Cyberia!

: I've loaded this and fps' background and I think I may be in love. Thanks guys!

Would this work with all the source games?

Edit the Gamemenu.res file with notepad, And change the Server names and IP's for that game, Might not work with others not quite sure.

Wow lol this is awesome it makes it really simple and fast to jump into servers, i did get some console message when i first opened css about cvar or something but everything worked, even while in game pressing esc for main menu and clicking another server so much easier. Thanks this is awesome paired with fps background i am pleased

Quick question, is there a way to edit the layout of where the button show up? Or will they always show up between Find Servers and Quit. I was thinking about adding to it but I was wanting a different placement for different things.

For me it shows up above Find Servers, Don't quite get what you mean.

You can edit this however you want it. Place it where ever you want, change font color, and do most if not all console commands with it.

Great idea, but I just keep my old scrim commands on ;)

Well, I was thinking about using the menu for some RCON buttons for events, but I don't want them all in the left column like they are.

Yeah, you could do that. However, they will be in the left column, as I don't think there is a way to change the menu location :confused1:
