As some of you may know, the NE coast has gotten snowed in. As a result, most of the company didn't show up for work today so the tour was cut kind of short. But it was still pretty awesome. I didn't get the chance to ask the questions posted. They hat question answered itself on the tour. There's lots of hats laying around at Valve, I assume they get inspiration from those.

Eric Wolpaw, writer at Valve gave the tour. I got to see 3 floors of their HQ along with several divisions. The place is amazing! There's Valve themed artwork everywhere. The most intriguing piece was the real-life TF2 sentry. Gabe's knife room was pretty cool too. Yeah, Gabe has a room at Valve which is literally filled with knives. He's a collector.

They wouldn't show me, but Meet the Pyro is currently in the works.

Oh very lucky indeed! I would love to go and see the valve HQ one day, from videos that I've seen of it, it seems pretty awesome!

You guys really have no idea how awesome Valve really is until you set foot in there yourself. I felt like a little kid going to Disney Land.

It was pretty cool play testing L4D 1 back in the day at Valve's Southern HQ in Orange County (The OC). It used to be the Turtle Rock Studios but they were bought out by Valve.

I always wanted to go to the real HQ. I envy you!

I remember that! Didn't we get a group of members together and you all went? I was going to go... but then me being across the pond and since I can't swim, I had to cancel :P
