CryEngine 3 Free SDK

Crysis 2 was pretty epic as far as graphics are concered. Now they have released the entire CryEngine 3 SDK to the public. You can create WHATEVER, assuming you know how to use it.

You can visit www.crydev.net and look at projects that development teams are working on. You can create your own Dev team and project after signing up (which is free).

The most interesting project I have seen is called "Red Ops" which is basically a modern warfare mod (not call of duty) that comes with actual guns such as the AK and M4.

graphics-wise, that lil video easily blows mw series outta the water. they def did a great job of creating a more realistic dynamic lighting effect off the weapon. i really do hope to see some awesome stuff come out using this engine. i also do hope that they continue to tweak the engine more. right now, thats bout the closest to real-life video rendering that ive possibly ever seen.

Zombies with destructible environments would be nice and actually barricading with materials and such.

im still waiting for a survivalist zombie game, with real physics, dynamic sound so you can attract zombies and deter zombies with sound, actual day, night, eat sleep drink to keep up strength. Stuff like that. Zombies are kinda overdone, but I feel they still have yet to put out something truly suspenseful and entertaining. I love hard games and stuff like that though.
