OMG I hope you guys are smarter than the people at Verizon. Unfortunately I have verizon and have issues connecting to steam because of it...lucky me.

Meh, its easy to make anyone sound stupid if you cause a misunderstanding and dont elaborate well enough, even moreso if its over a phone and it involves math.

I don't think the guy was trying to cause any misunderstanding nor make anyone sound stupid, the Verizon people did all that on their own, just to make them understand that they were in the wrong which they were.

In a situation like this the guy could have gone to a local Verizon store, but that would take more time and more money out of his pocket and it's besides the point. Math may not be a strong subject for most, but I would like to expect that when it comes to talking to people in the billing department of any company that they now that a fraction of a a dollar is not the same as a fraction of a cent.

Kudos to this guy for making them look like fools.

Yeah, Verizon does blow, but they have the fastest network in my area for the cost. Nobody else around here is running fiber optic.

I don't why you guys are all saying verizon sucks. I have never had a problem with them and they always have better phones than AT&T. For example they are the only network that has the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (my phone ) currently.

Me too, but I have nothing against verizon. My family just happened to already be using AT&T when I got my iPhone.
