vent question

Hello guys and gals. I'm new to vent (ts3 user) and wanted to know if there is an optoion for voice activatd talk. I played around in the settings a bit but ran out of time due to work, kids, etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

By default, Ventrilo is PTT (push to talk). In settings, you should find a box labeled "hotkey" - by clicking here and entering your key of choice, it will become your PTT key.

Click the setup button, uncheck "PTT Mode" (changes it to auto transmit), and play with "Sensitivity" to your liking (default 60 tends to be too high). Also, I'd probably lower silence time (time your mic is below sensitivity level before it stops transmitting) to maybe 1s.

Also it's something some know about some don't there are ways to mess with vents Compressors so that everyone is equalized. So they never come in to low or to hot when they talk. It helps no having to go and muck with turning people up and down separate like. If I was cooler I'd link to a page or youtube of how to do it but I just woke up and your all big boys and girls.
