Soooo tonight I was told I sounded like a 9 year old boy, therefore they refused to listen to me when I said "please watch your language".... super cool right? Admin probleeeeems :crying: lol some people are just so mean!
 
Well, you do sound like a 9 year old boy.

No, in all seriousness, you're the admin and you should kick/mute them if they disrespect or ignore your warnings. You're doing your job, and if they don't like that, they don't belong here.
 
sm_silence is an admins best friend. even if it's only slight disrespect, you silence for 5 minutes with a warning to knock it off.
 
You are the admin and you must let them know it. I dont think any admin really wants to kick players but you will have to if they dont obey the rules. You may be hard at first but you will survive.
 
My theories on banning when multiple people are trolling is like this. Once you make an example out of one, the rest will either stop doing it and just play or it will put them over the edge and then you will have to do the same, but either way in the end, the mature people playing in our servers will respect the job you did and know not to mess with you in the future.

Being the bad guy isn't fun, and kicking people from our servers does hurt us, but not supporting our rules and policies does much more damage in the long run. Always remember you have the full support of Leadership as long as you follow the simple guidelines that are set up.

Admin disrespect is breaking a rule, therefore if someone is insulting you or any other admin, feel free to silence or w/k/b. Also, admins have the final word, so it is your call on whether someone is breaking rules or not.
 
Be happy for that! worse if they say that you sound like an old lady :) ♥

I don't take it to offense. In reality, the assumption is only 3 years off. even though ageism is against the rules, it doesn't bother me because I have to face the rules. It's not like I don't realize I sound like a girl.
