I've seen a lot of WW2 pictures, videos, etc. I've seen color photos as well, and the remastered colorized films but I have never seen pictures as vivid and clear as the ones I've stumbled upon just now.

Looks like they were released sometime last July judging by all the articles that hosted them. Credits to Life magazine.

Hoping all the WW2 buffs enjoyed these.. And of course you, london blitz.

I have most of them but not as good as these. Yes I can remember near the end of the war and after it we used to play in them. good fun my cousin fell through the floor one time, we laughed but he wan'st hurt. To many stories, fun times growing up there.

I heard stories! If you ever get the time to write them down, send to me PLEASE! that or hop into vent sometime. I'd LOVE to hear them!

i sill find it amazing that st. paul's cathedral survived the bombing...

great find! these are incredible in a good and bad way.

These photos are so amazing, vivid, and incredible that it is a little bit hard to believe that they are real from the actual war, but i do think the're legit.

I havent mastered the art of copying the quote yet.
There was a documentary made I think it was called "London blitz" it showed original footage of the time. The priest or what ever the guy is called taking buckets of water up to the roof of St. Pauls "just in case" and people from all over London went there during raids in case it was hit and they could help put out the fire. Sorry guys I am not religious so I know nothing about guy in charge.
