Yes folks, that's right. I, and a friend, are going to Valve HQ within a few weeks.
Here's the story.
Once upon a time in a city called Seattle, a boy named Snapshot went to the Emerald City Comicon, cosplaying as an Aperture Science employee. On the last day of the three day event, he met somebody special. He did not know it at first, but the gentleman across the booth table was actually Wade Schin, a hat modeler and an employee of Valve.
During this discussion, Snapshot soon realized just exactly who he was talking to, and he came very close to squealing like a school girl. He had been a loyal Valve fan since the beginning, owning every single game they had ever made or worked on, even Ricochet! He even had beta codes for DOTA 2 and CS:GO. Now in front of him, was one of his very idols!
What's more, Wade told him that he was taking bronze sculpting classes, and proceeded to put down a solid bronze saxxy award on the table! He then proceeded to get a picture taken with the boy, give him a signed business card, and invite him to tour Valve and perhaps even alpha test for a day!
All of this is a true story, and now, once all the employees get back from vacation this week, I am going with my best friend, Vanshir, to Valve HQ!
