UI Coloring

Recently, in videos and screenshots, I've noticed two very different color schemes for Battlefield 3. One has them has deeper blues and reds for the killfeed and friendly names, as well as a new green for squad members. The other, which I have, uses the same colors for enemy/friendly names within the killfeed as well as the minimap.

What's the difference, and how might I go about changing it?

But why would so many people use colorblind mode?

Because as you were pointing out it is full of darker and richer colors, easier to pick out from the dullness of the battlefield. That's why I use it, at least.

I use colorblind mode because it makes certain parts of the UI more easily visible.

Actually the only reason why people use it is because RED is much easier to see than orange....for alot of people at least. This generally goes with people who spam the Q button.

Well, I'm a derp. Other than that, does it change the colors of the game itself much? I like the UI look better myself, but don't want to lose my beautiful Battlefield.

Nope, just changes colors of the UI, not the game itself.

Have you guys ever heard of FXAA injector? Are clan members allowed to use it? I ask because I'm using it now (and love it!) but will take it off if we can't.

FXAA is a bit of a gray area.

We don't know if you use it, and we can't ban you for it. However, if it is in the future marked as a hack/glitch by PunkBuster, you could be banned.

Damn I hope it doesn't come to that, it really makes the game look so much better, they should have released it this way!
