Will bent processor pins affect performance?

So while installing the new heatsink I got today (Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO ), two corner pins got bent. My dad managed to get them back into place (no metal involved, we're not dumb). It works fine now, but someone has told me that the bent pins decrease performance like how it used to be. Is this true?

Bent pins could impact performance if the amount of contact is compromised enough, depending on how straight you were able to get back. That has not happened to me yet. ::knock on wood::

They looked pretty straight back, like how they used to be. Not perfect, but very close.
