Hey TF2 division! I had a thought about something maybe cool to do.
So, we all know we have some interesting and cool people in TF2 division, with a wide breadth of knowledge, why don't we turn that into something tangible and add to the community as a result?
I propose a Vent/Forums Knowledge (Insert Day Here) event. Simply put, take a piece of easy comprehensible info from your favorite subject/field/weird things, and make a forum post about it in a designated thread, or maybe announce it in a designated room in vent.
It'd be cool to hear what people come up with, and I'm excited to learn about new things. (They don't even have to be academically related- they could be about how to properly cut down a tree, or maybe make a forum post correctly).
So what d'ya'll think?

I think this is a good idea. It'd be great to learn new things from everyone. :)

Now, if only I had some hobby to share... Haha.

I'm sure you have something Kazoo.

I don't really care whether or not this event-type thing happens. It's not bad or good if it happens.

if you would like to prove 1+1 is indeed 2 lemme know. It only takes 2 pages.

Someone needs to have trivia questions bout Yeezy, i'm in.

Hey guys, so I thought about it some more, and I thought that maybe we should try to do this in Vent (or in this thread) tomorrow at 8/7 central, AKA 6 mountain time.
Just prepare a small tidbit of knowledge, then make sure to ask questions. All the cool stuff is learned after a small tidbit of info hits you.
General Rules are to just pick a small, possibly obscure tidbit of trivia, and perhaps be educated about it enough to answer some intro questions. No ridiculing anybody for not understanding a concept, and don't hesitate to continue to ask questions if you don't understand. There is no such thing as a 'dumb' question.
Finally, make use of anything at your disposal. Totally irrelevant stuff is entirely appreciated. Subjects can range from how to clean a toilet properly to the great dynastic battles of 3450 b.c.e. Singapore. Seriously, everything is fair game.
Alright, thanks guys! If you have a better time to schedule it at, or a better way of handling it, then make sure to post back and keep everybody else informed.

Thanks!

Sounds good.

Although I do hope someone picks a fun topic. This is a social event, not a classroom. (not that I'd mind talking about something educational/sophisticated)

Well, that's entirely the idea. What's the point of having a classroom when most of us already have class? Haha.

Sounds like a less useless and more fun version of the Social Hour!

nah jokes Ily Noise. it does sound interesting though

You could always drop box this so leadership could see it easier

not sure why I didn't quote this before, but did you dropbox it Executable? we shouldn't have to run "un-official" events.
