So I played here and there and tweaked with some settings just to improve my game and if you are having some trouble, then there are some things you can do. rivaLXfactor, a BF3 demigod, has set up a very helpful tutorial for configuring your mouse settings. The most useful of which is disabling mouse acceleration. Mouse acceleration does basically what it says which is accelerating the cursor the faster you move it. Disabling this, means that you get a 1 to 1 ratio between you and your mouse.

That means, where ever you want to move, you will move exactly where you want to.

Watch the first video and second if you have a Deathadder. If you don't just skip to the second one instead.

And here is the link to the mouse acceleration hotfix: http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.com/2010/03/markc-windows-7-mouse-acceleration-fix.html

You probably will see a large difference and maybe some improvement to your reactions and aim.

I have a 27.5% accuracy without doing this. FTW! ;)

There was a point in time when I thought accuracy mattered. Then I bought this game and that went out the window. With hitboxes a mile in the wrong direction there's no point in even trying. I hit more reliably hip firing with a foregrip and flash suppressor than down a reflex. Even on hardcore.

I have my sensitivity very low where I have to pick up my mouse at least 3 times just to do a 360 and have always played FPS games with mouse acceleration off.

I have the mamba and my five stages are 1800,2800,3000,3200,3400 the 1800 i only use if i cant aim that round

Honestly, I've always been bothered by my games doing this, but never knew of a way to control it. Thanks for sharing, Numbers. ;)

I ve always used 1000dpi. The only problem is that I have a small mouse pad and crammed desk and my mouse sometimes lags
