So many people mispronouncing it and/or asking me how to say my name!

Kosha like the "coca" in "coca cola"
Shey like "She" as in female.
Emphasis on the "sha"

ko-SHA-chee

It's Russian for "feline", a nickname my old Russian best friend gave me many years back. It's sort of an odd to-english spelling for pronunciation, but probably the most literal. Koshahchiy is probably more accurate to sound out :)
 
Because it'd be entertaining, this is now the forum thread where EVERYONE gets to put their correct pronunciation and story behind their name!
 
BlackBird, like.. BlackBird :P Its starts with Black.... and ends with Birds....... Not because Im black, not because im a Bird, not because I am a black bird. But because I like the name :P
 
Yeah most people don't get my Steam name either, all end up calling me Dire. How hard is it to say Direptitious anyways.....

Punch2Face, kind of self explanatory. I named it that because I used to be KamikazeKarl, but when I got my G (many years ago), they didn't want people getting me and KamakazeTommy mixed up, and they wouldn't let me switch it to Fist2Nutz so I did Punch2Face instead ;)

I was gonna do the Fist one because when I was like 11 or 12, I had a LAN party with some family and a common phrase I would say is 'My fist, your nuts, LET'S DANCE!!" So I changed my name to that ;)
 
For a long time I had an online handle that was fairly unpronounceable, so I needed something unique, but still commonly recognizable.
 
Some people (aka Tanner Laird) don't exactly know how to pronounce my name.

pee - bee - jay.

It isn't pibjaz or whatever.

since some ppl fail (never thought it would happen) to say my name right ill see if this thread helps.

Jo- hardest part for ppl: its just like joe without e its not ho im not mexican -_-

Kashi it is, then!

I've been called many names, some not so nice, some just wrong. I'm pretty sure everyone can pronounce "Marine" - that's what I like being called for short. :)
