A Guide To Alcatraz, for Guards, Wardens, and Prisoners!
I've noticed that when playing Alcatraz the guards will fail to win more than a minority of the rounds. A majority of the reasons being guards fail to use areas intended for
them and their safety.
Catwalks, fenced off areas, observation areas will help keep you alive, prevent accidental killings, and help you maintain better control of the prisoners.
In addition, a majority of the map isn't being used with most rounds the prisoners stuck in the cell block, stuck going to the dock or soccer fields.
Remember the rest of the map can be used to and the prisoners would be awfully happy to not sit in the cell block all round.
There's two soccer fields so you can have a tournament such as Arctic's verses Elites and Phoenixes verses Guerrilla's. Then the winners play each other or something... use your imagination!
The solitary cells can be used as a couch game. The switches on the second story can open them to allow the prisoners to choose a cell then you can close all them and open the one you chose to die.
There's a nice clean and cool pool that the prisoners could go for a dip in to keep them clean and cool. Be careful as there's no lifeguard on duty and we wouldn't want to have dead prisoners all over the pool.
There's a kitchen and cafeteria which can be used for games such as hot lava in the cafeteria using the tables as the land. The prisoners jump from table to table without touching the ground and eventually the warden shoots over a random table thus making it difficult to not land on the ground.
Finally, I've been saying there are two climbs and there are! I lie to you not!
There are two climbs numbered by faint numbers on the wall. These two climbs use the machines as the blocks that a regular climb uses. They both end up on the chunk of catwalk at the end which is like the only catwalk a prisoner won't be shot for going on.
