"I want you to think, truly think, about some statistics regarding our satellite.

The moon is precisely 1/400th the size of the Sun, and is situated 1/400th of the way between the Earth and the Sun – this creates from the vantage point of Earth perfect solar eclipses.

The moon's orbit of the Earth (viewed against the relatively imobile stars) takes precisely 27.32 Eartth days. The Earth's rotations around the Sun (again viewed from the relatively immobile stars) takes 366 days. If you multiply the two "days" you arrive at 9,999.12 – almost perfectly 10,000.00.

The moon's mass is 1/81 of Earth's – if you convert this into decimal numbers you arrive at .012345678901234567890123456789 etc (you must locate the proof of this fraction online, it's not hard to find, and not use a simple calculator or one number will be off – see "Explaining The Decimal Expansion of 1/81 Using Calculus" – Cheer & Goldston)

Returning to the moon's sidereal year – 27.32 Earth days (See NASA eclipse website)

The mean menstrual period for women on Earth is 27.3 days (see "The Impact of Bariatric Surgery on Menstrual Patterns" – a study that first required them to define the mean by University of Penn doctors)

The median duration of gestation from assumed ovulation of a human fetus is 274 days (see "The Length of Uncomplicated Human Gestation" – Dep't of Harvard Epidemiology)

Absolute Zero on the Kelvin scale is, in Celsius, – 273.15 (See Wikipedia – absolute zero)

Hopefully by now you are seeing patterns – there are many more "profoundly coincidental" results that derive from the relationship between the Earth, Moon and Sun. If you take these "coincidences" together they are not coincidental at all – the Earth Moon Sun system is designed – it is obvious if you look at the metric equations – and this fact has been obfuscated. We were meant to look at the eclipse, and we were meant to derive out mathematics from looking at these relationships – and so we have, but the truth has been lately suppressed like so many other truths. You need to research yourself and be convinced by your own intelligence, but it is so. If you feel robbed, that all mankind has been and is being robbed, I understand."

It's really something isn't it? I posted this on my Facebook and since I just began to watch The Universe, this post made by this guy came back to my thoughts and so I decided to share it with you all.

Oh, this is silly.

Misusing the word "precisely."

YES. LET US MULTIPLY TOGETHER TWO MEANINGLESS NUMBERS THAT STILL HAVE NO MEANING WHEN MULTIPLIED TOGETEHER.
Genious.
(Also, 27.32 days isn't that precise unless it's really been measured to be 27.32000)
The moon's mass is 1/81 of Earth's – if you convert this into decimal numbers you arrive at .012345678901234567890123456789 etc (you must locate the proof of this fraction online, it's not hard to find, and not use a simple calculator or one number will be off – see "Explaining The Decimal Expansion of 1/81 Using Calculus" – Cheer & Goldston)
Similar to above.
Also, 1/81 is an approximation. Everything is approximations.

That's just odd.

............

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT.
This is comparing units of time to units of temperature, both of which in systems that people just decided to make up. While in the other ones you can kind of see "Oh that's a funny coincidence" this one just makes absolutely no sense. Plus, that's not even the average; that's the median, which is a rather less significant number.

tl;dr: This is exactly what it appears to be at first glance; a bunch of odd coincidences and nonsense :3
It's like all the similarities between Kennedy and Lincoln. Trivial things to know, but still mildly interesting.

Also, the grammar in this thing is killing me. /Grammarian

this is very very very interesting, now it's just blowing my mind

I love the show The Universe. Just plants how we're so lucky, beautiful place, but so close to an appending doom.

honestly idk what to think. seems pretty interesting though

Are you trying to imply that us religious types might be onto something?

I don't think we'll ever understand the how and why of it all (you have to be careful with the stats like Ranthus said), but the fact is it's there and you should enjoy it!

I don't know that I can say anymore, since we have a no politics and religion discussion. Science will never fully prove it one way or the other, so it's the journey of discovery and the wonder of what might be that keeps it all intriguing, regardless of what side of it you fall on.
