Since RedEyez isn't going to be back for a long time are we still gonna do scrims because I really like doing scrims they help us all get better and provide all around fun. So what are we going to do about the scrim team?

1. We'd need a server
2. We'd need people that are good
3. We'd need Brandon Snow to lead it
4. We'd need to get into esea

snow said he will come back for csgo, idk if that is going to happen though

The reason why we don't have a current scrim team is because there is basically no point to it. Every time we create one, it's alive and active for a few months than dies out because of inactivity, lack of interest and other factors. I personally would love to have our team back up and running but I feel it would be a waste of time due to the fact that CSGO is right around the corner. However, I still think that simply forming a team and preparing it for CSGO is still a good idea. In other words, getting the members to know each other and the way the play so they can be ready to push into CSGO with good results. I also think that the leader should be an advisor that is dedicated and ready to put in time and effort into the team. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I believe this last repeat has brought us to Cycle #57210. The only question now is who's going to be stupid enough to initiate the next cycle?

Just not enough interest from people. They like scrimming for a couple weeks then they just stop showing up. Also money is an issue. We don't have a sever and no one wants to pay for one

Well I loved the 10 mans we used to do but sadly that died out as well. It would be nice if we could get those going again, it's a good way to find out who are talented players are that willing to get together on a regular basis and not just "show interest" on the forums. Let me know your thoughts...

Well im veryyy inactive right now due to school and soccer. however, after, hit me up =]

Really? Stupid? Shut your mouth you punk. No one's ever stupid for trying anything. If someone wants it bad enough, they'll attain it.

I understand you get frustrated with the many attempts of a team but realize by disrespecting others, you will find yourself disrespected. This isn't the place to down people. If you have no beneficial input, don't bother responding. :cursing:

Smoke break time after reading that, jesus christ...

Agreed (other than the smoking).

I'd love to be in the scrim and wouldn't mind leading it if I know tge basics which i don't think I'll ever get the chance to XD

There's no need to be confrontational.

Trying to get something done isn't in itself stupid, but trying to start something without realizing the commitment and effort involved is.

Just how many threads in a single month are there about getting a scrim team going?

Smirnoff ice and penguin hit it on the head - people get excited about getting a scrim team going, tryouts are organized, a team is selected, practices are scheduled, and within a few weeks things fall through. The financial and time commitment are just too much, especially considering the community is largely non-competitive.

Ever hear the saying "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result?" This isn't the first time it's happened and it certainly won't be the last.

Perhaps my choice of words was in poor judgment, but I would hope you'd be able to better control yourself considering your position in the community.

Well, I'm not very good but depending on the server size and where you guys buy from, I'll donate some cash to the cause. I'll drop at least 20 per month on a server. Let me know the particulars of it and point me in the right direction and I can have it ready to be programmed and manned by Friday.
