While I do agree the game may not be fit for eGO (and that's leaderships call)
This seems a bit of a high level over view, "if they fix things" What does that mean? (I'm not trying to call you out, I just would like to know.) While I do agree with your other game picks. (diablo III is amazing) The above post and the E3 Show of the game showed a release of new items/ game play.
I would like to pick your guys brains as to why it's not for eGO. (granted I missed a few months )

:mad_old: Fix the PvP SYSTEM ie, get ranked warzones into the damn game already.
:mad_old: Give the players a reason to WANT to play in world PvP ie reward them for it, otherwise, why waste the time.
:mad_old: I personally would like to see an option to select which warzones I will be playing, as I would rather peel my eyelids off than play Huttball.
:mad_old: Implement a penalty for leaving warzones before they finish or at least within a certain time period after a game has started. As it is now if players enter a game and see a player or group of players they don't like or deem to be a losing game, they can leave without any sort of repercussion, which basically bones everyone else on the team until someone else joins. However, such behavior is contagious... once one person leave's, at least another 1-2 follow. Then you're left with a 5v8. By the time the slots get filled by more players, you're typically so far behind due to being short handed that recovery is near impossible
:mad_old: And server populations. These measly selective free transfers aren't going to fix the low population problem nearly all servers but Fatman is having. They need to merge the low population servers together in clusters. While I realize that that would be a logistical nightmare, it would be a better, longer lasting solution.
My two cents
And it's not the fact that the game isn't for eGO. The problem is that both the empire and the republic side guilds have lost so many members to the other newer games that have just been released and it was difficult for our leadership to justify putting time and effort into events when no-one would show up for them.
We have to keep in mind that this is the nature of the Op:X Division. We test games. If over time the game proves to be a success and is able to sustain itself, it is pushed out of Op:X into it's own division. That is to say, there is sufficient interest and player base, and we are able to recruit new members into eGO, among others, however the said two are of utmost importance.
If it fails to meet these standards, we close it down and move on.
Unfortunately SW:TOR ended up failing the two most important ones. Our player base slowly dwiddled away, and due to the population problem, we were no longer able to recruit new members. We decided not to wait until Bioware added server transfers because realistically, we have no idea when they will come.
