The made CS:GO because the community is so large for all of CS. Hell the community for CS 1.3 is larger then DoDs

The only way I see a new DoDs coming out would be a die hard fan made Mod to CS:GO

So I predict 6months after CS:GO goes live

Really? The 1.6 community is starting to die out. Most of the clans don't even pay for steam servers but nonsteam servers (with all the hackers) because not that many people play 1.6 on steam anymore.

Ok I have studied Valve Time for a loooooong time and I have come to a conclusion to when a Dod 3 will be released ( assuming they will).
Half life 2 was released on November 16, 2004 and Day of Defeat: Source was released on September 26, 2005. Using this information, added to my educated guess of Half Life 3's release I put Dod:3 around the 3rd quarter 2018 area...

Yes but a statement did come up that did make sense. Valve can't count to 3 so there's no telling how long it will take.

Valve didn't even make a Half-Life 3 game yet, I don't think another Day of Defeat game will be coming soon. Maybe, just maybe, just because they are releasing CS:GO. I don't want it to look like CS:GO with the L4D styled weapons and skins. I guess the next DoD game will be released on May of 2014

but! correct me if I'm wrong.. that's what I can remember and each of those versions, they added guns like the grease gun and then added things like the overview map visible while playing and the flags displayed over your teammates heads. :thumbup1:
