Punk Buster Issue

I have been having a Punk Buster issue with BC2 and been having trouble getting it figured out. I have been getting kicked for a Hand Shake Violation? i have uninstalled Punk Buster & Reinstalled it, same error. I have checked my security features and it is allowed thru my fire wall, still the same thing. Short of Uninstalling BC2 and reinstalling it i do not have a clue. Anybody else have any ideas?

Thank You for your quick answer, i have tried doing those things and still no dice. i hope i do not have to un-install it and re down load. it's very frustrating.

Here is something that you could try, it worked for most people that use Nvidia cards. It was linked to me through a friend. I was having the same problems with Punk Busters and CTD. Not to sure about BC2 and this doing anything but it might be "worth a shot". So here ya go SwampFox: This should allow you to play BF2 with out crashes, using the latest Nvidia Drivers for BF3

We have found a fix, well so far it works to stop the CTD for all so far that have tried it

*right click desktop and select "nvidia control panel"

*under 3d settings on the left select "manage 3d settings"

*on the right select "program settings tab"

*under "1. select a program to customise:" pick "Battlefield 2 (bf2.exe)" from the dropdown box

*under "2. Specify the settings for this program:" scroll to the bottom of the settings

*change "vertical sync" to "force on" then apply (or Auto on)

*launch battlefield 2 and no more CTD
