First off, I want to thank you for the suggestions you all gave me for San Diego. What an amazing city that place is and I really enjoyed my stay.

In 3 weeks time I will be heading with a few friends to Seattle for 6 days and splitting that time in Vancouver. We have a general list of things to do so far, however I know there is quite the contingent of DoD players that live in the area so it's always nice to get the local input.

Things to do so far:

Seattle ~
Marines game
Sounders game
Pike Place Market
Space Needle
Pioneer Square
Discovery Park
Experience Music Project

Vancouver ~
Stanley Park
Richmond Night Market
Whistler (?)
Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park

Any input you can give is greatly appreciated. We could also use some spots to hit up at night in both cities.

Thanks.

When you get to Vancouver, head to Granville Island. It's a great place with a bunch of great shops.

What a coincidence, because I too will be heading to Vancouver; road trippin' from Los Angeles all the way up there in about three weeks' time while making stops along the way. Looks like I'll also be taking the suggestions made on this thread. :D

Both of you...PM me...tell me the actual dates you will be here (that makes a difference in what things to suggest)...your budget (there are cheap things to do and expensive ones, of course)...how many people, etc.

Timr will be the guy with the camera asking if you want your pic taken;)

In Seattle, you need to get a Dick's cheeseburger, and have breakfast at a place called Beth's. Pike Place is also a good place to go, albeit kinda touristy.

Killa, if you come through Ashland, Oregon (right on I5 on the way up) and want to stop in and see the town I'd love to show some people around! (provided i'm not working >.<)

:O I don't know if we'll be stopping around Ashland 'cause I know we've scheduled a night at Eureka, at which point we'll probably be cruising the next day along the 101 until we either hit Portland or continue the trek all the way up into Seattle. I'll definitely keep your gracious offer in mind though!:)

The single most amazing thing in Seattle (Even better the the needle) would have to be the EMP (expericence music project) it's an amazing place...in vancouver or on you way out if you hit through portland definitly stop by voodo donughts for some legendary donuts.. That's all oregon really has to offer other then amazing views :p .... most of washington (outside of seattle) included :] but yeah, for seattle I'd say Pike place market, EMP, spaceneedle.. Best part is the EMP is basically right next to the needle...YSD is the expert in that area though :P

Appreciate the responses guys. What about some good places to eat? (Especially seafood)

YSD, I sent you a PM.
