Bored out of my mind

K so im bored and im looking for the most odd things to cure boredom, wierd ways to anoy people, or just wierd thing in general

Penny tapping. Its a great reason to go outside and run around like a little kid. What is penny tapping? Well first lets go over the items you will need;
1)Some band-aids
2)Some quarters (or pennies but quarters work the best)
3)A spool of thread (fishing line also works)
4)Some friends
5)A target

Okay now that we have everything we need lets get this party started. First locate a target it should be a house with a large window that is easy to get to i.e. windows near front doors. Once you found your target you need to set everything up, Ill break it down into steps to try help explain how this works.

Step 1:
Start by opening the band-aid and removing the white things that cover the sticky part.

Step 2:
Take your string or fishing line and wrap it around one of the sticky sides of the band-aid a few times.

Step 3:
After you have wrapped you line around it a few times take you quarter or penny or whatever coin you are using and stick it to the SAME sticky side of the band-aid you wrapped the line around.

Step 4:
Now you are almost ready to start tapping away, have one friend hold that spool of line and stand across the street from the target house. While you and/or another friend walk up to the house drawing out the line from the spool. Be quite though, you don't want anyone to know you are there!!

Step 5:
Once you have made it you the window if the house here is what you want to do; take the band-aid and stick it to the window of the house, you want the side with the string and quarter hanging, so the band-aid should be in a vertical position.

Step 6:
After you have the band-aid stuck to the window (make sure that quarter is hanging!) go ahead and fall back to the other side of the street. And find some cover, behind a car or in the bushes.

Step 7:
Let the games begin! Go ahead and start pulling on that string not to hard though! You don't want to rip the band-aid off the window. Just pull that string quickly over, and over, and over! If you did everything right you should hear a loud tapping sound and the people in the house should hear a even louder tapping noise inside the house.


This is something my friends and I used to always do, its a lot of fun. We would go out every night and hit up the same houses and some new ones. You get some funny reactions, some people just come out and take the quarter and yell thanks. We had one guy come out with a hammer, when he saw use he yelled out "You kids having fun?!" and we all shouted back "yes!!!" then took off. But some times people call the cops......


If you are really good, and fast you can also do this to cars, the only problem its pointless if no one is the car, but when someone is in the car it is often moving, and doesn't stop for very long.
