Pubber accesses our servers in spectate only...

Nurse came to me this morning saying he cannot play on our servers. When he logs-in he is in spectate mode only. He CAN access other dod:s servers (non-eGO). He HAS defraged and run validity checks. He DOES NOT yet have Vent.

I asked him yet again, if he is interested, in joining eGO. He expressed reluctance to take on additional responsibilites (that were required of the last clan he was with). Nurse is a longtime "strand"er, who along with Dbad, trucken, Luiz and babyJesus, keep the "Green Machine" rolling along.

Thats odd, I bet someone here will have a solution. Regarding joining eGO, members have no obligations, he doesnt even have to accept a promotion if he doesnt want admin responsibility. His only responsibility will be having fun and following our server rules (which he already does).

If this is a recent thing, lately the option to join a team once you enter the server hasn't been working. If that is what you are referring to, just have him press comma (or is it period? :blink, then he should be able to select a team and carry on. If this is not what you are talking about, then I am unsure what the problem is.

I had another pubber named Core Lokt who had this problem. Period fixed it for him.

wow, cant believe he couldnt figure that out on his own. I use m to join team and n to choose class.

The issue started on eGo servers a couple of days ago after the latest steam update. Nurse is a good player and have played against him for years. I understand his hesitation as the last clan I was in I was working ten hours a day for the group. It took me a while to commit to eGO just recently. So far so good.

Steam updates always break something, when I log on and see Steam updating my heart sinks with worry, what will they stuff up now, Relieve if it works properly.

Interesting! Before the Update I couldn't access our Avalanche or Donner server with those downloads, but after the update I was able to join.

I recruited Nurse into eGO a few years back but he really didn't like all the things required of members so he quit.

I think they finally fixed this cause for me it goes right to the team select like normal.
