stat padders are being reset by EA *ALL read please*

Warning to all members of eGO:
Ok so i browsed the battlelog forums today, and i was supprised to how many where asking why they were all reset back to rank 1.. in most of cases players were told is was because they had been on flag cap only servers, where you only cap flags and aren't allowed to kill (which technically is stat padding), allthough trying to deny it.

this guy is a prime example of why cheaters should be reset. If you take a look at his SPM compared to time played you'll see its impossible without doing some sort of cheat and its really a blatant one as well. My suspicion was confirmed when i looked at his recent servers i didn't find just 1 but 5-6. With such blatant cheating im not at all supprised he got reset.

The moral of the text is: DO NOT VISIT FLAG RUN SERVERS.. EVER! not only is it concidered stat padding but it also violates eGO's code of conduct, and if you're caught you'll likely gonna end up in a mess there is no getting away from

So beware of what servers you visit, do not join this fad for anything in the world

Yeah I remember when people used to stat pad in BF2. One guy on the enemy team would kill someone, and a teammate on the dead guys team would revive him, and they'd do this for hours, racking up insane amounts of points. Then again, that was BF2, when it was actually hard to gain rank/unlock stuff. 2 pts per kill, 1 pt per assist, thousands to rank, 1 unlock per 2 ranks.

Interesting way to stat pad though, only capping flags. Makes sense, but yes, they're getting what they deserve.

Lol there was this one time back when I played BF2142, I stumbled onto an enhanced server, where all points were multiplied (idk how many times) but within a couple games I unlocked all sorts of stuff, and ranked up like 10+ times. I didn't even mean to go to the server for that reason, but I wasn't gonna challenge it lol.
 
It so easy to gain points in this game, don’t really know why people need to strat pad, it doesn’t really reflect on your skills anyways. But yes eGO members need to stay away from such activities, if you need to up your SPM play on our server :P
 
Agreed with Killer hell go look at one of my games Friday night, was number 2 on the team with 10K + I think , not too hard, and they made it to where ANYONE no matter their skill will get the unlocks...ect., it may take longer than others but, that just makes ya fight harder
 
Wow thats a bad way to stat pad like use some common sense and use the nemesis technique it gives you a GREAT kdr and you can get like 20k points per kill. And yea stat padding is bad dont do it like go play TDM and get a good kdr like when i first reset my stats i played tdm only and got like a 2k spm or something crazy like that
 
Ya playing tdm is the legal way to stat pad nowdays :P used to be metro, changed to tdm Noshard/kharg.
 
stat padding is not all about getting the killer k/d, it is mainly about one of two things..1) Time..yes time..in BF2 you needed 400 hours in a tank to gold that badge and to achieve the rank of general. So time servers come into play, no fighting just sitting in a vehicle or in a building. 2) Points..It is a real easy way to rack up a lot of points fast, it can be done anyway the player wants for high k/d or high team score....etc, why someone would want to do this in BF3 or BC2 is beyond me.

To add onto your first point getting certain things take a lot of time in bf3 it isnt colonel 100 it is getting rank 100 on every class now thats HARD like i have 20 stars on my assault kit and I am getting an assault SPM of like 500 and the average player might get an assault SPM of 200-400 so that would take them quite a lot of time.
 
I remember stat padding in the BC2 Beta. People sat in a pile of ammo boxes and fired their guns all day. Lulz were to be had when a rogue UAV pilot got in the mix.
 
why did this turn into a disussion on how to stat pad? im trying to get people to refrain from going on to these servers -.-

lets get back on track now shall we? :P
