There will be no SotW subdivision of the Art Section, so in order to avoid additional clutter, discussion for every SotW will be restricted to this thread.

Questions about the rules or the competition in general are always welcome.

What are the recommended sizes for these signatures?

I would say between 300 x 100 and 450 x 200. No larger than that though.

There was a whole heap of these a few years back run buy Quaffer if I remember right. Unfortunately it just died after a while, hopefully this one can last a while longer then it did back then.

Swapped out my initial entry with one i made today. It's still not where I want to be in terms of skill level, but it's progress.

I had a decent one that I made Cable I was going to submit, but it's 500 in width, so that's no go. XP

What is the height? I may up the image size in the future. I just want to make sure there aren't huge disparities between submissions.

also, I want to make userbars for the winner each week, depicting the winning signature and some sort of text.

I would welcome some ideas.

The height's 175. It wasn't huge, it was just a little bigger than the requirements lol.

I suggest you increase the voting period to at least half the week, since not everyone checks the website on a daily basis let alone the art section.

This first week was really just a litmus test to see what the level of participation would be like.

By the way, your stock for week 2 does NOT need to be a personal photo. The theme is really more about nostalgia than anything else. But, if you want to use a personal photo, you're more than welcome to do so.

Love the dirt bike crash Sscarr I've been there before and agree not tasty.

It was actually much worse then that picture lol. I went over a 60ft jump on a YZ250 and on the landing the front forks blew out -_- so basically a 20ft high face plant, I was more pissed that the front end of the bike was destroyed then breaking a few bones, as most motorcycle enthusiasts would be

Oh it was a childhood memory though as much as it doesn't sound like one, I was around 12 or 13 I think.

Almost had exact same sort of situation. 65ft. Triple cased the hell out of it, broke my right foot peg off and as shocks bottomed out my front breaks master cylinder screw tore a hole in my lateral meniscus. Had to load my bike and drive a standard truck with one foot to the hospital. They are so fun but one big slip up like being in 4th gear when you should be in 5th can put you in a world of hurt. Was riding a 1999 CR125 had unloaded around 6-8k in upgrades on it for racing. Still have the bike, great bike but don't ride it like that anymore.

I also agree with you at the time I was more pissed that my knee bent another pair of handlebars then the fact I had a hole in it and wasn't going to ride at all for the next 6 months lol.

@Jin Just so you know this whole Childhood memories SOTW caused me and my wife to talk about our childhood memories for 3 hours last night.

The damage you got is a hell of a lot worse, Since I was only 12-13 I didn't have to pay for repairs or anything and I only broke 3 ribs so wasn't in a whole lot of pain. I came off pretty well considering
