Anyone in yet? I cant talk about it due to NDA...but if anyone wants to hit me up in-game. My in-gamename: Vertago or if it goes by stationname: Vertago999. I got the invite 2 hours before the servers went down so I didnt get to play too much...I guess I should stop talking...:chair:

Hmm, First of all I have been anticipating this game for at least 4 years now, so my opinion may be a bit biased. I played the original and honestly had my most memorable moments of gaming while playing it. The scale of the game is just so huge...

Did it live up to my expectations?

In some areas it did and some it didn't. The Day/Night cycle in the the game is absolutely amazing. The game play at night is completely different than game play during the day. If you really wanted to see some night game play there is plenty on YT.

The VOIP is really clear and honestly sounds better than Ventrilo. I havent encountered many problems if at all with it. If it doesnt work, I just restart my game and it will. And honestly it is still beta and I bet it will be working perfectly once the game is fully released to the public. When I join a random squad at least half will have a mic so recruiting will be a lot simpler. BF3 would have been so much better if its VOIP had been like this.

I will add more thoughts on the game that do not necessarily break the NDA as I think of them.

Thank you for sharing Vertago. I saw some videos on youtube displaying the day and night cycles which looked amazing. You can tell the combat is different depending on which cycle, day or night. How do the classes feel? Is the skill system that is in place feel like it's going to work well? Share your opinion about character progression and if the current skill system is going to work.

This just came in, straight from Facebook! The guys who post the latest on Planetside 2 have announced that the beta will go live sometime today! No official word on when itll start up, but I wanted to give you guys a lil heads up. I wish I could join, but I have to set aside $$ so that I can work on upgrading my cpu, memory & mobo. Everyone else enjoy the beta tho!
