I agree but they did innovate, they took those products, made them look like, slapped an easy to use OS on them and sold them to the mass market.

I don't particularly love apple but that is something they do well.

Has Microsoft really ever invented anything?

Nope, they're pretty much the same as Apple. At-least Microsoft doesn't go around suing people. Didn't Apple sue Samsung for $2.525 billion, because the edges are smooth?

Im not saying that Apple products are bad, because they are very good at improving technologies. However, they are hypocrites because they get "inspired" by others, but don't let other companies even think about doing the same.

I don't like Apple, they do innovate yes. But they're arrogant and charge WAY too much when I can find something similar for much cheaper.

Their Macbook Pro 15" is ~$2,000 USD or ~$2,600USD if you want the retina display..
I can find a laptop (15 or 17") with similar specs or better for ~$1,100-1500 USD.. it's ridiculous.

I bought my Zune 80GB for $120.. You can hardly get a Nano for that. Granted Zune no longer makes anything and it seems like Creative has dropped down to a few models which is a huge shame. Creative has the best sound quality in MP3 players.

I had a choice of a iPhone 4 or my Droid X and I picked the Droid X because I could expand my memory and get an extended battery and they were the same price at the time. After my new battery and microSD, I still paid 1/2 as much than most iPhone users with their bejewed cases and apps.. lol

I'd say that Microsoft has invented a few different things

I would love to see your sources on that. Microsoft employs a gigantic legal team, part of which is engaged in patent wars with competitors. They have to since they average a new hardware patent every three days, according to Panos Panay.

I am pretty sure Apple patents plenty as well, but I don't have figures at hand on that.
