I love osu! very easy to get used too and it really gets addicting!, also there are tons of songs on osu!, But i can never beat Mega..or NMsniper...or Akatsuki...lol but its still fun!

I am a pro ctb player but not for standard. On standard i starting to play insane difficulties and getting better on it. Also i use a tablet to play.

The tablet gives an unfair advantage.
 
I wish someone had told me there was a stepmania type game mode in osu!

I played a similar game before on my NDS (Yes I Still Have it!)

As for rhythm games I prefer Audiosurf and Taiko Drum Master

One of my favorite songs, just achieved my highest ranked score on it. It's not really hard, but very long:

I have good replays on easy songs with mods on them ;)
 
I will give some advice to give your osu! career as a start! First of all, practice makes you perfect. As long you don't give it up you will succeed. From my point of view, as a ctb player i can say that if you put efforts on it you will not regret and it will rewards you. That is how i become good in ctb.
 
me after playing for only 3 days.
I spent around 2 hours on this song. I finished it once but forgot to record the replay then did it again and destroyed my previous score. This done with a bad shoulder.
Apparently Sephiroth says it's hard to do a song like this while clicking...I disagree.
