Do you like the new form look and images?

I'm sorry but I hate this new look, it seems too cluttered and "too much" for me. The old one was sleek, simple, original, and professional. This one is straight out cluttered and unprofessional. I feel like the old one should be around forever and I have no IDEA why we would need to change besides the "trademark." I wish we can change it back because this one is plain out bad. Props to TomSound for giving his time and doing it but the old one was just way more professional and better looking.

I like the new change, but I kind of like the old one better. These are definitely not bad though.

I agree with Andy. People take things like these for granted. We should all thank TomsSound for going through the trouble for making these lovely changes. I myself disliked it at first sight, but then I got used to it. I can hardly remember how the used to look. Props to you, TomsSound.

I chose other (please explain): whenever there's a visual change it takes a while to get used to, first blush I always prefer the prior, it's just how I work. The new look may or may not be better, I can't accurately gauge that atm. I would say this, though: I totally appreciate the time and effort that was put into it. Thankyou, very much!

I for one really like the new ones!
The navigation could be a little more organized. Too many links scrambled around, giving the user a bit of a shock with how much there is to click around. If you were to implement the same "submenu" technique on the side menu it would clean up the page a bit. The fact that the account menu is right underneath the divisions navigation, then another navigation to the left (which should be page navigation ) is kinda clustered. I eliminate the account navigation and only make it appear when you go to your control panel. Thus giving focus to the page content itself.
You could also make the page be a static sizing, instead of dynamic. Incorporating some web-standards would be nice too, for all of those that check the forums on mobile devices or tablets.
Color wise I think it's alright, it could use some texture on the bg or something to spice it up, but keeping it neutral is playing safe. Since a wide audience does view this page, it's a good choice I guess you could say. I would suggest a different shine color on the emboss graphics. The emboss on "gamers" (top banner graphic )is just right, while the stars emboss is a bit too big. Keeping that consistent sharp thin emboss would be great, since it would tie in both looks well together.
The forum php or the css for some of the forum php sub pages could use some work to eliminate certain "white boxes" at the bottom of the pages that contain no info/content.
Footer is good, I like the faded ego, but again I think the page feels a little flat with no gradations of colors.

If left there, the login could be better positioned at the top with a black bar. Or be left on there, but then move login boxes to the right of that section and neatly organize the links to be parallel to the division menu. There's so much that could be worked on with the margins and positioning on the user control menu to be honest. The cleaner the design the better the message is conveyed. If you simplify the navigation, the better it'll be on your overall design. You could incorporate some javascript techniques or "jquery" to simplify the division and user control panel menus. Maybe even merge them in some way.
I know my suggestions will probably not make any changes, but hopefully it will result in some backend experimentation on mocks ups for you guys.

Another suggestion I'd make, is to make a focus group. Recruit specific amount of people from the community for the next step of enhancing the current look. You need to find what the community likes and dislikes, before making any branding changes. That way you can fine tune it before finally releasing it. Not a surprise change, as from what I've read on the past posts on here.

I think it's pretty great.
I wont say this looks amazing to me, but it does absolutely have the "edged" feel to it, that I feel was missing from the old theme. I'm all for this change, but I would have preferred a much more extensive change in the direction of sharp edges.
All in all, while it does take some getting used to, it's and all-round good job. I also know that Tom has done a great job creating what he was asked to do, very good job bud.

I like it but old ones were better than this. The "cartoony feel" people are getting, as well as myself, is from the font. Also if you're going for a 3D look then make it all 3D and sensible 3D meaning have it all go to one horizon not each section's own horizon. Hopefully artsy people know what I'm talking about xD

This is actually a decent logo, I really don't care but you could actually turn the new logo if you ever make one into a competition. People may enter their own custom made eGO logos and if you could cut it down to a couple you could have us the members vote on the new one
