Help my friend logged out of steam and loged back in but his account t was different and had none of his tf2 stuff and his account was different

Sorry let me put that clearer with more detail. My friend restarted his computer, and logged back into steam. When he did, all of his progress was gone. His achievements, items, and even his name were all gone or changed.

A simple word of advice for future reference for him: When you have any of the steam tabs open (other then servers or friends), check what it say's near the top right where it says "USERNAMEHERE's account".
